My name is Shannon and I’m the owner of Paws & Purrs Feline Services. I was a feline-only veterinary technician from 1996 to 2015, and committed my career to enhancing and enriching the lives of our feline companions.
In order to give Paws & Purrs the time and love it needs to continue to grow, I made the decision in 2014 to start cutting back my hours spent in-clinic as a vet tech and to focus more time as business owner and professional cat sitter. As of July 2015, I officially retired as a veterinary technician. I have spent the last 18 years discovering my passion for felines and truly learning to “speak cat”! All of the kitties I have known over the course of my career have taught me the true meaning of compassion, patience, empathy, joy, trust, and sadness. I am excited (and fortunate) to continue my life’s mission of educating pet parents and enriching the lives of our feline family members through Paws & Purrs!
