“I have had both Chloe and Shannon care for my two boys and wouldn’t trust anyone else! Chloe was my prior sitter when I lived in the Marietta area and Shannon is their current sitter. It is so comforting to know when I am traveling that my boys are well cared for as it’s already stressful enough being away from them! I know that both Chloe and Shannon genuinely care for the animals they are caring for and it shows as my boys love both their “Aunt” Chloe and “Aunt” Shannon. My more shy boy, Dane, even has Shannon trained to feed his meals to him under the bed! Both are wonderful about providing updates and even pictures. Can not recommend enough! ”

“I first met Shannon and Kathy this summer after I moved from Buckhead to East Cobb without my trusted cat-sitter. My kitties Ziggy and Iggy are rescue and take a while to warm up to new people, so I wasn’t looking forward to going through the process of finding a new sitter. I interviewed several and tried a couple but they didn’t work out mostly because my cat Iggy has asthma requiring oral pills and also hides under the bed for most people, making it difficult for sitters to pill her. I travel for work, and was very worried about leaving her. Then I met Shannon and Kathy. They were warm and caring, and experienced in caring for kitties with special needs. They assured me Kathy would not give up on bonding with my cats. I was hopeful but extrememly surprised when Iggy bonded with Kathy after only a few visits. They are already the best of friends and now I can leave home without having to worry!”

I would highly recommend Shannon and her staff to take care of your little people they are professional, and trustworthy.”

“I highly recommend Paws and Purrs to anyone who has a cat or multiple cats. I have the utmost respect for them and the care that they provide to our cats when we are out of town. It was such a pleasure to meet Shannon and the cat sitter that she brought to help us, Kathy. They are so knowledgeable about anything feline, and I knew as soon as I met them that my 5 kitties were in excellent hands. They make sure that they know all your cats’ names, special food, hiding places, toys, fears, and any idiosyncrasies that they possess at the first “meet and greet”. They even brought a toy for the cats! We have a diabetic cat and he could not have been in better hands. In fact, the ladies brought to our attention that we were using the wrong syringes with the new insulin that we were giving to him! Wow! If it weren’t for them, who knows what may have transpired with us giving him the incorrect dosage? Not only did they take excellent care of our kitties, but we also got a quick text each day to say all was well. These are very caring, trustworthy, and good people. After leaving my cats with one of my own adult children and having many problems when we returned home, I can state that I will not leave town again without having Paws and Purrs take care of my cats! Their services are outstanding and of the highest quality.”

“Shannon began pet sitting for my kitties over 15 years ago. At the time, my senior kitty, Casey, needed fluids, and Shannon was referred to me. Since then, Shannon and her team at Paws & Purrs have been pet sitting for my kitties every time we are away. Fortunately, most of my pet sitting requirements over the years hasbeen routine feeding, medication or fluids. However, during a trip several years ago, my senior kitty, Twiggy, suddenly became extremely ill. When Twiggy failed to make an appearance one evening on July 3, Shannon searched for her and found her near death by my front door. Poor Shannon couldn’t find our pet carrier, but nevertheless, scooped up Twiggy and rushed her to see Dr. Lane, who met Shannon at her office very late on July 3rd. Dr. Lane was unable to stabilize Twiggy, so Shannon took her to the Cobb Emergency Vet and checked her in. By then it was July 4th. Fortunately, we were returning on the 4th, and Twiggy survived what was likely pancreatitis. I have no doubt that Shannon’s actions and devotion to her profession and my kitties saved Twiggy’s life. Today, I have 3 younger kitties who only require feeding, but I always schedule Paws & Purrs to take care of them when we are away whether it’s for one night or an entire week or more. I would give Paws & Purrs my highest recommendation!”

“How do you describe the outstanding feline support provided by Shannon and Chloe? There are so many words to use…’terrific, remarkable, responsive, first-class, amazing’, and the list goes on, because Paws and Purrs is most definitely a highly-professional organization! Shannon & Chloe are very, very personally dedicated to the care and support of our 4 cats…and they are ALWAYS there when we need them, even with short-notice travel requirements. Paws and Purrs has proven their dedication to cats and kittens through strong scheduling flexibility, incredibly reliable service, and a genuine love of pussycats! No matter where we go, or when…we can always depend on Shannon & Chloe to provide outstanding critter-sitter support to our feline tribe. “We found Paws and Purrs through our Veterinarian, whose staff maintain they are the best pet sitters. The recommendation was absolutely accurate. We couldn’t have found a better sitter than Kathy. One of our little guys is terminal with kidney failure and we were terrified that any disruption in his care could shorten our time with him. We need not have worried. Kathy developed a great rapport with the kitties, and kept us updated as to how things were going at home (including photos!). This allowed us to enjoy our vacation much easier, knowing that the kitties were being well taken care of. We unconditionally recommend Paws and Purrs. They are competent, compassionate and have a true love for cats. Our cats couldn’t have been in better hands.”

“I have 5 cats. Two have very serious medical conditions. I would normally feel guilty leaving, but with Shannon and her staff I know my cats are in excellent hands; they are vet techs. Because they only work with cats, I feel like they understand cats’ personalities and needs. Sometimes, in other firms, cats are fitted in between dogs. Here, my cats are the priority When I get home they are so relaxed. Sometimes there are even toys left for them. It is priceless to us to know that someone who understands medical issues and the unique personalities of cats is taking care of them. We can travel without guilt. Shannon and her staff are priceless. We highly recommend them.”

“Shannon has taken care of our three girls many times. She always goes above and beyond! We can leave home with complete confidence that our kitties are being well taken care of and are receiving lots of love. Thank you, Shannon!!!”

“We would like to offer our full endorsement of Paws and Purrs Feline Services! Kathy and Shannon have given us such peace of mind. We travel quite a lot in our careers, and cannot always be home to care for our two cats. We do not have children so our cats are just that – Our Children! We do not feel secure leaving them with just anyone. Kathy and Shannon have the experience to not only deal with the routine of feline care (feeding, pilling, play, etc.), but also to step in when emergencies happen. They are held in the highest regard with our local area vets and feline specialists. It is this level of care and service that we’ve come to enjoy with Paws & Purrs Feline Services. We would recommend P&P to any conscientious cat owner.”

“My husband and I first learned about Paws & Purrs from our cat behaviorist. We had not been able to take a vacation in over two years because we had not trusted anyone to care for our five cats and administer their medications properly. When I first spoke to Shannon on the phone, I immediately felt comfortable with her, especially knowing that all of the sitters are comfortable medicating, and are trained for most emergencies. It was also important to us that they only work with cats. My initial feeling was confirmed when Shannon and Julie came to our house for their first meeting with our cats. Julie had a very quiet, calm demeanor, and immediately got on the floor to play with them. My husband and I were able to go on that vacation, thousands of miles away, and were not worried in the least—Julie texted us regularly, sending photos every day. We felt like we were at home with them! I never expected in the beginning that we would utilize Julie’s services as much as we have. Julie bonded with our shy cats quickly and is very attentive to their needs. We are now planning small weekend trips because we know that our cats are being well cared for, and they love when “Miss Julie” comes over to play with them! I would highly recommend Paws & Purrs to anyone in need of experienced, thoughtful pet sitters.”
